Army Inspired Look (Soft Smokey Green)

Hi Girls,

This is a soft smokey green look inspired by the runway trends this year. A lot of fashion houses are doing something army-ish, (is that even a word??), so I just want to do a really simple smokey eyes. The fun part is that I only used ONE eyeshadow in this tutorial! You can take this technique and use any colour you want in the future! How convenient is that? :) Just go to my youtube page (search: kstelin) and you can watch the full tutorial. (oh, I'm really new in this blogging deal, so can anyone tell me how can i post the link to my tutorias on youtube? i tried clicking the "insert link" but it does not work)(Thanks to Ee Von, I now know how to do this )

Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara Review

Hi everyone, I did a review which I've posted on my youtube channel, Check it out :)

What you need to know about Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara:
- Non-waterproof formula comes in a purple tube (the one that i have)
- Waterproof formula comes in a green tube
- The applicator looks like 3 little balls with rubber spikes (kinda like covergirl lashblast), which makes it easier to apply mascara to hard to reach area such as the inner corner of the eye or the lower lashes.
- The formula is super wet and it takes some time to dry, do i suggest not to squint your eyes until the mascara is fully dried
- After I apply the mascara (to my pre-curled lashes), I noticed my lashes started going straight down to it's original position (before curling),which is kind of disappointing.
- It does give some length and volume but it get a bit clumpy if you layer your mascara a lot.
- I've noticed some flaking, not so much smudging, and the flakes sometimes gets inside my eyes and it is really irritating.
- I don't recommend this mascara for people who has lashes that grow straight down, however, it might just work well for people who has natural curly lashes! :)

My lashes before I curled them, pretty pathetic, yea? :(

After I Curled them. I curl my lashes using shu eumura eyelash curler

My lashes with 1 coat of Maybelline Volume Express mascara.
They look super full and long, and most importantly, the curl stays.

My lashes with 1 coat of Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara
They look a little bit fuller, however, my lashes go straight down. Not a good mascara to hold curls.

My lashes with 2 coats of Maybelline Vomue express mascara.
They clump a little but it's nothing a lashcomb can't fix.

My lashes with 2 coats of rimmel sexy curves mascara
They clump a little and does nothing tot he length

So, that's my review for rimmel sexy curves mascara, it is quite obvious which mascara is better for people who has lashes that grow straight down :)

MAC Reviw part 2 of 2 (Brushes, Lips, Face)

Ok, so now is part 2 of the review...I posted this in my youtube channel

MAC Bronzing Powder in Refined Golden: Bronzer with golden shimmer, but the shimmer does not really show up on the skin, it just gives the most amazing glow

MAC Blot Powder in Medium Dark: Just a setting powder that gives a matte finish, I do not recommend it for super dry skin, but just put it on top of the nose, and forehead and you're good to go!

MAC 217 & MAC 190

217: Fantastic blending brush, it is stiff enough to really buff the eyeshadow and fluffy enough to create a soft transition to your eyeshadow application
190: Classic foundation brush, the hair does not fall out (ever!)

From Left to right:

Vanilla: off white with a tiny bit of shimmer, a fantastic highlight color
All that glitters: soft gold with a pearly finish
Sumptuous olive: olive green with a pearly finish
Pink Venus: Medium Pink with glitter chucks
Trax: Dark Purple-i Burgandy color with a gold sheen
Contrast: Midnight blue with a tiny bit of dark blue shimmer

From left to right:
High Strung: Sheer Brown with silver shimmer in it
Creme De La Femme: Pink with a golden sheen
Xpose: Mauve with a silver frost
Chic:Coral with a golden sheen
Jubilee: Sheer light brown
Twig: Dark reddish brown with a golden sheen

Mac Review Part 1 of 2 (Lips)

So I decided to do a review on some of my MAC products. I am new to MAC (well, not really, but i've been really interested to try more products). Anyways, I've posted the review on my youtube: www.youtube.com/user/kstelin for an in depth review, so go check it out!

MAC Dazzleglass in Funtabulous & Bare Necessity

Dazzleglasses:
- Have reflects glitters in it
- Brush applicator
- Runs out faster that lipglasses
- Beautiful to put on the middle part of the lips
- Don't put too much cos it might look like you're drooling ;)

Funtabulous: Purple with pink and blue glitter
Bare Necessity: peach with pink and silver glitter

Morange Lipstick

Jest Lipstick

Angel Lipstick

Morange: Amplified cream finish, meaning it is very creamy and super pigmented. Morange is a very bold orang lipstick, yup! orange! I love bold lipstick and sometimes red lips is just not enough..try it out, i totally recommend it.

Jest: Lustre finish, meaning it is not as pigmented, it may look bold in the lipstick form, but when you put it on, it looks very sheer. A lot of people don't like it because they expect a lot of pigmentation, however, i think it is nice for an everyday use, and it lasted a reasonably long time :)

Angel: Frost finish, meaning it has a lot of shine to it. Some MA lipstick that has a frost finish can look harsh, but i think angel is a very good everyday pink with a little bit of sheen to it :)

Now, we're going to talk about MAC Lipglass
What you need to know about lipglass:
-It has a sponge tip applicator
-Kinda sticky, but last a long time
-Has some shimmer, not glitter

MAC Lipglass in Nymphette: peachy pink with golden shimmer

MAC Lipglass in Totally It!: Pink with blue-ish shimmer

MAC lipglass in Silly Girl: Dark Orange with silver shimmer
MAC Lipglass in Beaute: light orange with silver shimmer

Lustreglass:
- Brush applicator
- Not sticky
- does not get scummy on the lips

Wonderstruck Lustreglass: Pink with silver shimmer
Pink Karat Lustreglass: Light pink with gold shimmer

It was hard work, but soo much fun!

This is sooo funny, it's a charcoal drawing of my friend..Her eyes looks insane in this charcoal drawing..Sorry Laura.. :p

A mural I did with my friends during the first year of college,, :) It was an awesome time! unfortunately, they have painted over it..sad..
